Jenny Nuotio (1882–1948, born Kilpiäinen, later Upari) served as secretary and treasurer of the Working Women’s Union in the early 20th century. At the age of 16, she joined the Viipuri Workers’ Association and was active in the weavers’ trade union and the Viipuri Social Democratic Women’s Association, among others.
Nuotio was a member of the union committee of the Social Democratic Women Workers’ Union in 1905–1906. She served as the union’s secretary from 1906 to 1907. Nuotio, who worked as a weaver, was the youngest member of the first Parliament. Before the first Parliament convened, she married police constable Villehad Nuotio. She did not run for re-election in 1908.
