L’introduction du Patriot Act est chanté par deux soldats dans une étrange vidéo de propagande tournée à Paris en 2005. Ce texte voté par les deux chambres à majorité pour l’une démocrate pour l’autre républicaine est une réponse aux attentats du 11 Septembre, limitant les droits personnels au nom de la sécurité de la nation. Les deux performers réalisent le play-back de la chanson en reprenant des poses physiques de soldats issues d’ affiches politiques de propagande russes et chinoises. Le texte est chanté sur l’air du film Titanic ce qui présage une issue fatale à ce texte dans le futur.
Patriotic sera présentée dans des dizaines de festivals étrangers,de rom New-York à Tel Aviv de Mexico à Stockholm, puis avec le Patriotic Tour dans de nombreuses villes européennes. La première a eu lieu au Festival Némo Paris, 1rst Award on Avanca Film festival (Portugal), Maison des arts de Malakkoff (France), Nuit Blanche Toronto, au MACVAL à Ivry (France), au Musée des Beaux-arts du Canada à Ottawa ou Satelite Gallery, Vancouver (Canada).

Patriotic revolves around the controversial Patriot Act‹, which was enacted by the US Congress following the attacks of 9/11. They pick out the passages relating to the security of the USA and the fight against terror. The result it a sweet ode to the USA for several voices with clear homoerotic undertones. Patriotic is full of bombastic, drastic rhetoric and singing soldiers in imaginary uniforms. The two sing as loudly as they can to Celine Dion’s hit from the Titanic My Heart Will Go On. The irony is unmistakable: a perfect war propaganda parody. Patriotic was presented in a lot of foreign festivals from New-York to Tel Aviv Mexico to Stockholm and with the Patriotic Tours in severals european cities,It was also in competition in Nouveau Festival in Montréal, the First was at Nemo Festival in Paris, 1rst Award in Avanca Film Festival (Portugal),Maison des arts de Malakkoff (France), Nuit Blanche in Toronto, in MacVal in Ivry (France), at the Museum Fine Arts of Canada at Ottawa and in Satelite Gallery, Vancouver (Canada).
